There are two ways to complete ID verification. The preferred method is online, instant verification, provided by IDVerse. This supports the verification of almost all government-issued photo identification documents from over 220 countries and territories. You can use
- Passports: National passports from most countries.
- Driver’s Licences: Physical driver’s licences (including, in many cases, both front and back for validation).
- National Identity Cards: Government-issued identification cards.
- Visas/Residency Permits: Documents confirming legal residency or visa status.
- Proof of Age Cards: Specific government-issued photo ID cards.
Please note
- Physical, Not Digital: You must use physical documents. Digital copies or photographs of ID cards are not accepted.
If you cannot use the online application, you have the option to submit a photo of your ID for our patient care team to manually verify your ID on your account. For this, we need to see a legal form of ID that shows your full name and date of birth. Options include a driver's licence, proof of age card, passport, or birth certificate. Please note that a Medicare card cannot be used as it does not show your date of birth.
