Our system is set up to reflect the Australian telehealth regulations, which came into effect from 1 September 2023. These requirements state that all patients must have a real-time consultation with a doctor before a prescription can be issued.
During the consultation, the doctor will determine the duration for which they will approve your medication. In this period, you will be able to order repeats of the medication via the website without requiring another consultation. The timelines for approval will vary from person to person; similar to a regular prescription, if you are in good health, the doctor may approve for up to 1 year, however, if you have more complex health or medication(s) it may be a shorter time period.
Please note that changing your medication or dosage will trigger a consultation, as a new prescription will be required for this. If you believe the consultation has been added in error, please reach out to our customer service team to assist with your order.
