Once you have placed your order, there are a few steps involved before your order is approved and is ready for dispatch. Processing an order from initial review to approval can be done within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday, however, more complex clinical considerations or a delay in completing any tasks on your account may result in longer processing times.
To ensure your order is processed ASAP the first thing to do is check that all of your actions on your account are up to date; all new patients will require ID verification before your order can be processed, and there may be additional tasks related to your treatment request. You can check this through your account after logging in.
Once your actions are up-to-date, the doctors will complete an initial clinical review to ensure your treatment request is appropriate. This is anticipated to be completed within 24 hours Monday-Friday. If the doctor requires additional information, they will contact you to ask this - delays in your response may cause delays to your order being processed. Once the doctor has determined the treatment is appropriate, they will request that you book a consultation.
Real-time consultations are required for the doctor to process a prescription as per the Australian telehealth guidelines. We will typically have same-day appointments available between 7 am-8 pm AEST Monday-Friday, with some weekends available as well. Once your appointment is complete, the doctor can approve your treatment.
The final step is a clinical check completed by our pharmacist to add an extra level of safety to your treatment - this will be processed promptly after approval, however there may be minor delays if any concerns are raised.
